SPRINGFIELD, MO — Team 24-7 Realtors will host the second annual “Hors d' oeuvres & Ideas," an informational event for home buyers and sellers, on Thursday, November 1st, from 5-7pm at Metropolitan Grill, 2931 E. Battlefield, Springfield, Mo 65804.

Sponsored by Kim and Joel Gaisford of Team 24-7 Realtors, the casual, no-pressure, no-sales pitch event is open to the public. This year’s Hors d’ oeuvres and Ideas will once again provide an opportunity to learn all the processes involved in listing or buying a home. Topics will include 100% financing options, how to improve your credit score quickly, home inspections, why buyers need title insurance and determining closing costs. “On the spot property values” will provide people with access to comparable property values in neighborhoods throughout the Ozarks.

In addition you can learn the pros and cons of building versus buying a home and how home improvements and/or home staging can influence both buyers and sellers.

Lastly, questions such as protecting your property when your family is facing long-term health care decisions, how a lack of estate planning can affect a property’s title, and how the probate process works, can be answered.

"In addition to those who are new to buying or selling a home, there are lots of people who feel overwhelmed by the real estate process," said Kim Gaisford, Team 24-7 broker.

"This event is completely casual. You won't see charts, graphs or PowerPoint presentations, and there won't be any type of lecture or sales pitch. We really want to take the mystery and anxiety out of the equation," said Brent Woody of OakStar Bank. “This is truly an educational event for members of our community.”

Hors d’ oeuvres and beverages will be available at no charge to attendees and there is no cost to attend the event. Additional community sponsors include Oak Star Bank, Hogan Land Title Co., InFocus Financial, Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS), Midwest Quality Construction, Fidelity Title Co., and House Doctors Home Inspection Service.

Team 24-7 Realtors is a member of Murney Associates, a Top 100 nationwide real estate firm, and is ranked #66 among the 1632 licensed realtors in the greater Springfield area.
