Ozark is only 5 to 10 minutes away from the city limits of Springfield, with a convenient hop on Highway 65 to get there. It’s also only about 30 minutes away from the live entertainment capitol of the world, Branson, Missouri! One of our favorite things about Ozark is its great location.

Enjoy the scenic views of the Finley River with lots of space to play and roam. The Ozark Finley River Greenway Trail is a perfect way to get some exercise, take a stroll with friends or just enjoy the scenic views of the city and nature along the way!

The Historic Square in Ozark is known for its great antique shops. People from nearby communities flock to local stores such as, Little Blue Bird Vintage Boutique, Boomland Square Gifts and Home Decor, Camp Flee Antique Mall & Vintage Market, and plenty more! It’s the perfect place to find that unique piece of furniture or decor for your new home!

In addition to the great antiques on the Square, it’s also known for its peaceful respites from the grind of shopping. The tea rooms in Ozark have really become a destination for residents and visitors alike. There are plenty to choose from, each with its own unique offerings.

Everyone knows about the famous Lambert’s Cafe. It’s one of the most well known and delicious restaurants in the Ozarks, and is home of the “throwed rolls.” Aside from Lambert’s dominant presence, Ozark has lots of awesome locally owned restaurants. Billy Gail’s, a new local favorite, is well-known for its HUGE portions and delicious breakfast and lunch variety. Try a famous 14 inch made from scratch pancake, 5 egg omelet, or a 1 lb Mighty Tenderloin sandwich. Other great local eateries include Yen Ching, Salvatore’s Italian, Rosie Jo’s Cafe, Vineyard Market, and plenty of other excellent choices!

The Ozark R-VI School District includes 4 elementary schools, Ozark Middle School, Ozark Jr. High, and Ozark High School. Ozarks schools are among the safest schools in the state and ranked 30th best overall district out of 446 districts in Missouri. It was also ranked in the top 12% of best places to teach in the state.
